LIBOR TRANSForMATION

In March 2021, the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) confirmed that most LIBOR would cease immediately after 31 December 2021. These include EUR, CHF, JPY and GBP LIBOR for all tenors after December 31, 2021. These also include one week and two-month USD LIBOR after December 31, 2021. All other USD LIBOR tenors (e.g., overnight, one month, three-month, six-month and twelve-month) are to be discontinued after June 30, 2023.

The transition to the new benchmarks which are called Risk Free Rates (RFRs) is likely to cause particular challenges for end user of Libors such as corporations, asset managers and private clients.

We can help in this transition process by representing you with your loans and hedge or derivatives counterparty banks who may be significantly more equipped than you to ensure that any transition is done timely, equitably, and cost effectively.

Working with you, we can analyse your current portfolio which is impacted from Libor transition, and suggest to you a guide with actions that may be required, and the timeline for delivery. We can also provide you the subject matter expertise, and ad-hoc assistance on an ongoing basis.
